You can stay at Il Albergo Monastero inside the Castello Aragonese. It's an incredible experience. You get free access to half of the castello (people normally have to pay to get in at all, and you have a small fee to access the rest of the property with gardens & museum displays & gorgeous panoramic views), with freedom to go in and out as you please with 24 hour concierge, friendly staff, beautiful rooms, and a delicious restaurant on-site with free breakfast. Not many people seemed to know the hotel existed!

Take a stroll to Ischia Ponte and enjoy the beautiful narrow streets and colourful shops, try amazing pizza and Ischian rabbit in a local restaurant, such as Aglio, Olio & Pomodoro, and visit the Aragon Castle. Also don't miss the termal spa's around the island. We visited the Negombo park and it's 12 different temperature swimming pools. On the way there, we impulsively decided to visit the Mount Epomeo. Tip - don't go hiking with flip flops on! That was an experience!
