Meet Devin in Whistler

I am passionate about the environment and enjoying the beautiful nature that surrounds me on a daily basis. I am always up for any kind of adventure as long as I can capture memories with my camera as we go! My style of photography varies depending on what my clients are looking for, however I love to make sure my sessions are light-hearted and fun. I like to keep the photos very minimalistic and natural and this includes my editing style as well. I have done photoshoots for many adventure companies like Mountain Equipment Co-op (MEC) for example. I have also done branding photos for clothing companies and coffee shops. The majority of my photos are of couples whether that be engagement photos, proposal photos, maternity photos, or even just photos to commemorate their time in Whistler.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: Green Lake is special in Whistler because in the summer the water becomes a beautiful bright green/blue colour and you have a spectacular view of the Whistler mountain range in the background.

Three Things

  1. I love to go on adventures with my dog, Bella, and my girlfriend, Skylar. If I am not out hiking, snowboarding, or swimming at the lake, you can find me at home editing photos or enjoying some downtime.
  2. One thing I can't live without is kind of obvious because it is my camera. But, if I have to choose something that isn't my camera I would have to say trees, because they are my favourite and without trees, our world would not be the beautiful place that it is.
  3. My friends tell me I am 'Waldorfian', this is because I went to Waldorf school as a child where we are educated by baking bread, painting, and learning how to dance. Because of my background and going to this school at a young age, I felt it has given me a greater connection to the environment.
