Meet Julia in Madrid

I want my photographs to have a timeless feeling, to portray ambience and magic. My style is feminine and full of light, and I pursue smiles and intimate looks when I am shooting. I think photography is all about connection and atmosphere, about freezing the moment and cherishing it forever. I consider myself not only a photographer but a memory-keeper, and I firmly believe memories are our greatest possession.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: I love the area around Royal Palace + Sabatini Gardens, and also exploring cute neighbourhoods like La Latina. Shooting inside iconic cafés in Malasaña also feels really special to me!

Three Things

  1. I am a huge book nerd and my friends and family know that I can almost always be found with a book in my hands – and I always take a book with me when I leave the house, just as Rory Gilmore! You never know when you're gonna find 5 free minutes to read, right?
  2. I was an exchange student in California back when I was in highschool and got to really experience american high school. I felt like I was living in a teenager movie! Lockers, prom, cheerleaders, football players.. wow.
  3. I love travelling by myself to different European cities. When you travel alone you get to know parts of yourself that stay hidden during day to day life! Getting lost without checking the map and just picking the street that looks prettier without caring about landmarks is my passion – it's the only way you can really get to know a city.
