Meet Dorota in Edinburgh

I'm Dorota 🌿 Edinburgh, Scotland has been my home for 14 wonderful years. Besides being happily married, I'm navigating the teenage years with my two lovely girls, amazed at how fast they're growing up. I'm also a 'furry mom' to two lively Border Collies, keeping life full of excitement! I’ve had many roles: social worker, coffee barista, waitress, nail technician, beauty makeup artist, and more, but being a mom and capturing memories was what truly brought excitement to my life. I love the joy of photography. It’s the most fulfilling feeling in the world!

    Favourite Place to Shoot: both Edinburgh Old Town and Calton Hill. I love Old Town for its unique character, charming cobbled streets, and beautiful historic buildings. The Calton Hill for its views over the city which are breathtaking.

Three Things

  1. When not taking photos for other families, I love travelling with my family in our camper van, discovering hidden gems, and enjoying daily adventures. Getting lost is my favourite thing—it always leads to unexpected discoveries! PS: I'm always capturing my family's adventures, especially while travelling. Memories are precious to me, and a trip without photos doesn't count. I hope you agree 😉
  2. The two things I can't live without other than my camera, is my hill-walking boots and my yoga mat.
  3. I’m a pizza🍕 lover and could enjoy homemade pizza for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. I also adore fluffy clouds ⛅️ and conifer trees🌲. A walk isn’t complete without my dogs by my side. My friends call me the 'Tourist Whisperer' because I know all the best spots in Edinburgh and around, and I’m always happy to share my recommendations!
