Some years ago, a friend told me Verona has so much history of offering that goes way beyond the books and movies we all know. She knows I will not follow book stories, but I will fall in love with history. She was right! A stroll around the city can transport you years back, and you will find a lot to learn while walking around along with breathtaking views.
Travel Tips
Highly recommend doing a walking tour under the moonlight. The city bridges and walls are outstanding. Then, wake up early to take fabulous pictures of empty streets. Ponte Pietra was one of our favorite areas, and the view of the city from above is a must.
