Travel Story
This was our seventh trip to the eternal city and it never gets old (pun intended). Rome is just magical and because it was the Jubilee year for the Catholic church that made it even more special.
Travel Tips
Polese is our favorite place for dinner. Trastavere, our favorite district. Piazza Navona a favorite place to hang out. And, St. Peter's and St. Paul's to pray. The Coliseum looks just fine from the outside. I'd spend more time other places. If holy sites are your jam, then don't miss Santa Croce, Scala Santa (the Holy steps) or the four main basilicas.
