Travel Story
We got married on February 23, 2020 in Longboat Key, FL and decided that Oregon would be a fantastic & different experience for our honeymoon! We spent 10 days traveling all over Oregon starting with a few days in Willamette Valley Wine Country. We visited 7 amazing wineries, some of our favorites were Penner-Ash Wine Cellar and Furioso Vineyard. From there we took a day trip to Silver Falls State Park to hike the Trail of Ten Falls. The hike was so magical, featuring 10 unique waterfalls with unparalleled beauty. After our hike we drove to the coast for the next few days. We stayed in Lincoln City on Gleneden Beach in the cutest traditional style A Frame overlooking the ocean. We visited Depoe Bay for a whale watching expedition and Devil’s Punchbowl State Park. Driving up the coast the scenic views were plentiful! We stopped for a visit at Neskowin State Park to see Proposal Rock and the Ghost Forest. Making our way north, we reached Cannon Beach to see the infamous Haystack Rock and hang at Pelican Brewing Co. We ended our trip in Portland, checking out all the local breweries and eating all the delicious foods Portland has to offer! We enjoyed staying in our Airbnb that featured a zen backyard with a sauna and outdoor shower. On the final day we drove back to the coast to have our photos taken with Emily from Flytographer at Cape Kiwanda. The beach and views there were spectacular, especially during golden hour. The experience was one of the highlights of our honeymoon! Having these photos makes for such a great memory of our time in Oregon together.
