Travel Story
For my birthday my sweet husband surprised me with tickets to Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. As a die hard Harry Potter fan and someone who had never been to New York for more than a couple hours on a layover I was beyond excited for the trip. Fast forward to Christmas and him surprising me AGAIN with a Flytographer shoot and I knew this was going to be an even better experience! We did our best to fit in as much of the city as possible in our long weekend away with two broadway shows, lots of amazing food, walks through Central Park and the High Line, and a few world class museums.
Travel Tips
We highly recommend going to a comedy show at the Comedy Cellar. Make reservations ahead of time, grab a slice at Artichoke Basille’s pizza around the corner before and enjoy the show! If you’re up for a surprise or can’t decide which broadway show you want to see we also suggest buying tickets through Broadway Roulette. We got great seats to a show we otherwise would not have picked but absolutely enjoyed while we were there and the surprise was half the fun! Also, do yourself a favor and book a Flytographer shoot with Marilyn! Not only will you have the best photos to remember your trip, but you’ll spend time with one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. Marilyn is as kind and fun as she is talented and we are so happy to have met her.
