Celebrating my 30th birthday at Point Dume in Malibu with my husband was a dream come true! Having lived in California, returning for this milestone felt like revisiting a cherished chapter of our lives. We had always talked about visiting Malibu, and this occasion felt perfect! One of my favorite memories from this trip was driving up and down Pacific Coast Highway taking in the beautiful views along the drive, and of course enjoying my birthday cake right on the beach. It was a celebration I'll never forget!
Travel Tips
Exploring Malibu, we found La Piedra Beach to be incredibly beautiful, especially on weekends when El Matador tends to be crowded and parking can be challenging there. Point Dume also left us in awe, and we felt fortunate to capture stunning photos in such a picturesque location! For dining in Malibu, Geoffrey's is an absolute must for any celebration! Their outdoor seating boasts breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean, perfectly complemented by their exquisite cuisine. After our photoshoot, Zinqué became another beloved spot. Their late hours were ideal for enjoying sunset views over the ocean before dinner, particularly during the summer months. In Los Angeles, strolling through Beverly Hills charmed us with its quaint neighborhood vibe and lovely park. However, our standout dining experience was at Lulu inside the Hammer Museum! The gnocchi was simply chefs kiss!
