Travel Story
Italy is one of our favorite countries. We had never been to the lake region of Italy and had heard amazing things so added Lake Como to the end of our trip to Switzerland. As the saying goes, we saved the best for last! Lake Como was gorgeous. The weather was perfect, the food and wine was amazing and our hotel, Grand Hotel Tremezzo, was incredible. We spent 5 days in Lake Como doing hikes, boating on the lake and visiting so many adorable villages with Bellagio being the most picturesque and where we took our photos. Italy never disappoints!!!
Travel Tips
One of the most beautiful sites we saw was Villa del Balbianello. Absolutely breathtaking. Our favorite restaurant was Al Veluu which had no only incredible food and drinks but the most beautiful view of the lake at sunset. And if you enjoy hiking, don’t miss hiking up to San Martino where you will find a beautiful 16th century church.
