Travel Story
In our group of friends, 4 of us were to turn 50 during different times of the year. Spending time together with a trip was our way of celebrating our milestone birthday. We took 2 weeks to have a week in Bangkok and one week relaxing in a villa in Koh Samui. The most memorable parts of our time in Thailand included getting around the island on our motorbikes, going island hopping, doing historical and scenic tours, attending a Muy Thai fight, getting numerous Thai massages throughout, having a chef cook at our villa, while also finding our favorite place to frequent on the island, all the night markets, all the shopping and most of all spending the time with our besties who help make our lives exciting. Some of us even got Sak yant tattoos to commemorate our time together. It bonded us further with our experiences and we truly have a memory for the books all wrapped up with a wonderful Flytographer photoshoot by Immanuel. (Doing a photoshoot has become my favorite way to end our trips together).
Travel Tips
Highly recommend Krua Savoey on Koh Samui to eat! Lots of variety on the menu! Our favorite dish was the minced pork with shrimp and crispy morning glory. Also highly recommend the semi-private island hopping tour of Anthong Marine National Park on either the red dragon or blue dragon boats. Must do as many night markets as possible and enjoy all the Thai food!
