Windy Trip to Halifax
Photographer: Heather

Route: Custom Route, Halifax, Canada
Travel Story
My sister and her boyfriend moved to the east coast from Alberta years ago to further their educations. This was the third time visiting them out in Halifax for my husband and I and we wanted to document our time with a Flytographer session. Being a photographer myself, I know how important it is to capture your life and travels but for some reason for photographers, we never do it for ourselves. Hence booking with Flytographer ;) We had such an amazing time with Heather zig-zagging through the streets of downtown Halifax and making our way to the water to catch some iconic harbour views. We even attempted to try to climb the "big wave", which my husband did multiple times and I couldn't even make it up once ha ha.
Travel Tips
If you are into craft beer, there are a lot of awesome breweries to check out in Halifax but some of our favourites are Good Robot, 2 Crows, and Propeller (which is dog friendly, has boardgames and there is an arcade in the basement). If you have time, make sure to venture over to Dartmouth for a moring/afternoon stroll on Portland Street. You have to grab brunch at Cafe Good Luck, a good cup of coffee and browse the vinyl selection at New Scotland Yard, and check out the curated collection of the local artisan scene at The Trainyard General Store.
