How did you meet?

What is your love story?

Kaelen and I met at a summer camp for adults where we went with a mutual group of friends. From the first night when we played the childhood game of “four square” together and danced to nostalgic 2000’s pop songs, I knew this would be a match for the ages!

What made you choose this proposal destination?

I work for an airline so travel is one of our favorite activities, but it usually ends up being unplanned travel. We knew we were going to be taking a trip somewhere exciting, but we didn’t know where until we got to the airport. This is what made Flytographer such a lifesaver! I was able to book our photographer after we boarded the flight.

What is your proposal story?

We were staying in the beautiful city of Luzern for the weekend so I needed to come up with an excuse to go back to Zurich to meet up with our Flytographer, Veronika. I told Kaelen we were going to do a guided tour of the city and we need to meet up with the group early Monday morning. We had a bit of a rocky start trying to get back to Zurich early in the morning, but Veronika was so helpful guiding me to the exact spot for the proposal. Luckily, we had the entire area to ourselves so I was able to take my time really soak in the moment.

How did you meet?

What made you choose this proposal destination?

The 1st picture Veronica commented on on my Hinge profile was a picture of me in a field in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland which I took in 2019. 3 years later I knew that was the exact spot I wanted to propose in. So I looked up the exact coordinates to that location and proposed to her in that exact spot!

What is your proposal story?

I came to Switzerland with another couple that I was traveling with to add to the distraction! On the proposal day we went to Lauterbrunnen and walked down long path to get to the proposal spot where Veronika had already been waiting ready to shot our big moment! I asked my photographer, Veronika, if she could take our picture and send us what she took later and she agreed (my gf Veronica was very confused but agreed lol) when Veronika set up the shot she said “this is perfect” then I got on my knee and proposed. It was truly perfect! It was raining for most of the day that day but for the actual proposal it stopped completely! Sounds like divine intervention if you ask me! <3

Best tip for proposing in Zurich

Make sure you prepare for whatever weather will come your way the day of the shoot. Sometimes Mother Nature makes plans that you aren’t always aware of!
