How did you meet?

School

What made you choose this proposal destination?

After graduating college, we traveled to Europe as our first big trip together. Vienna was the highlight of the trip - we fell in love with the city, the gardens, and the coffee and pastries! And it was where we first said "I love you", so it has had a special place in our hearts ever since. Coming back to Europe, we wanted to visit Vienna again, and I knew it was the perfect place to propose. It gave us the chance to re-live those memories and experience and celebrate in a place we love that's so special to us.

What is your proposal story?

We had amazing memories from Volksgarten in the heart of the city, and wanted something that was beautiful and a little away from the crowds. The day of was fantastic and we explored all of our favorite places and highlights from our first trip before heading to Volksgarten for sunset. It started pouring rain as we got there, but we enjoyed a few drinks under a patio and decided to explore the garden as the rain settled. Florentina, our photographer, was waiting for us and offered to take a picture - that's when I proposed! It was an amazing moment, and the rain only made it more fun and magical. After that we did a full photoshoot in the rain in the garden and in the streets nearby. It definitely didn't go exactly as planned, but it was absolutely perfect!

What is your love story?

We met in a coffee shop when I was brand new in town. She approached me and asked for my number, I was taken aback but pleasantly surprised. We’ve basically been inseparable  ever since that day.

What made you choose this proposal destination?

My family was having a reunion in Vienna, so I figured what better time to celebrate the engagement?

Everything was very smooth, Dana our photographer did an amazing job of playing the random tourist part!
