Experience the beauty of Vancouver Island at a local park a short 10-minute drive from bustling Downtown Victoria. This park features a walk through a meandering path through a pine forest to get to a small beach area with beautiful rock formations. The view looks out into the Straight of Juan de Fuca towards the Olympic Mountains – which would be visible on a clear day! If you are lucky, you might see the head of a curious harbour seal poking out of the water, or see a busy otter scury over the rocks. As you explore, you'll continue down the chip trail to get to a clearing in the trees where dramatic rocky cliffs set the stage. Sturdy footwear is recommended – especially for the rocky areas.
