I am an easy-going, playful gal with a flare for goofballery (that's a word right?). I love meeting new people and sharing lots of giggles during our session together. Nothing brings me more joy than providing timeless pictures that freeze a moment in time and transport you right back to that wonderful feeling.

Hi! Think of me like your new local friend with a camera. The goal? Make you feel at ease by doing my best to make you laugh (sometimes to the extent of thoroughly embarrassing myself!!) and have some good old-fashioned fun together. The best part of my job is getting to know YOU and capturing memories as they are made throughout the session – like bottling pure magic. The unparalleled beauty of Vancouver Island makes it's way into my galleries no matter which route is selected or what the weather decides to do. I am very grateful to have been a photographer in Victoria, BC for 5+ years – capturing couples, families and portraits – and memories to cherish for generations to come.

I am an energetic, easy natured islander. My love for people and early interest in photography sealed my fate in this lifetime. My photography seeks to capture truth and simply enhance what already exists. I am flexible in the way I work. I respect the game plan/idea while trusting my instincts and the organic flow of the session. My work includes all things portrait/people related: commercial and wedding photography, family, maternity and newborn sessions.

I'm Megan and I help extraordinary people to tell their truth in an equally honest, vibrant and out-there way, so that they can feel that their photographs accurately reflect their personalities and season of life. My sessions are loud, energetic and REAL. My motto is, "go with the flow", and I’m a seasoned boat captain in the art of determining where your flow will lead us. I won’t have you stand this way, and tilt your head, leaving you to wonder where the heckeroni to put your hands. It's absolutely not about being photogenic, it’s about relationships, love, personality and moments. I'm proud to have been published twice in Today's Bride Magazine, and have been featured in the blogs of Confetti Mag, Love Inc Mag, Rocky Mountain Bride, West Coast Weddings and Wandering Weddings.

I am a relaxed and easy-going west coast girl who is always up for an adventure! My photographic style is modern documentary - I love to capture honest, real moments as they naturally occur, in a clean and simple storytelling way. I've been photographing life in general since I was a kid, but after graduating from photography school in Alberta, I began to focus in on weddings and portraiture. My work has been featured in publications such as Style Me Pretty, Weddingbells, Fly Away Bride, Monday Magazine, and Victoria News, among others.

I'm a born and bred Island girl who loves taking photos and showing off my beautiful city. I take a gentle approach to photos, giving prompts without stiff formal poses. I also let children be children and will photograph them as they are.
