Regarded as one of the best natural escapes in southern Arizona, the Sabino Canyon recreation area sits at the base of the Santa Catalina Mountains and is part of the Coronado National Forest. The wild scenery is unparalleled, featuring rock cliffs, stunning desert vegetation, waterfalls and creeks, and abundant animal life, including raptors, rodents, and snakes. The area is a hiker's paradise, offering from easy to challenging trails. Still, if you don't feel like hiking, a comfortable shuttle tour will lead you through the park. *Please note that there are daily and weekly entrance fees per car, and pets and glass containers are not allowed.
