Tallinn's old town is a treasure trove of gems, all within walking distance of each other. Towering above it all is St. Olaf's Church, once the tallest church in the world. The Old Town Square is an excellent place to feel the bustling vibe that has remained much the same since the medieval ages. Head to the Masters' Courtyard nearby to check out several artisans at their craft. Then, check the Viru Gate, which looks just out of a fairy tale with its ivy-covered towers. Longer bookings can go up to the Kohtuotsa or Patkuli viewing platforms, where you can see the city from above and marvel at how photogenic everything is.
