Located over 400 meters atop the Sintra Mountains, in the heart of the Sintra Natural Park, this off-the-beaten-path destination offers breathtaking vistas and a much-welcomed secluded atmosphere. Take the stony road from the car park and soak in the spectacular views of the coastline and the city on your way up. Then, explore the dramatic sanctuary and its terraces, from where you'll get gorgeous panoramic vistas as well as charming yellow walls. Sintra Natural Park also offers hiking trails through the lush forests that surround the sanctuary. Note: Entrance is free, and no permit is required for photoshoots.
