We met our Flytographer Alexandra in the small town of Mondsee, about 45 minutes from Salzburg city center. I'm so glad we made the journey to this quaint beautiful town! It sits right along a lake, surrounded by mountains, it was the perfect place to explore after our photography experience.

Take the Moenchsberg Lift to the top at dusk. Beautiful views of the city from up there! And be sure to take your Salzburg card that the hotel gives you - most attractions are free if you have this card!

I absolutely recommend driving up the mountain road to the restaurant Reitlehenalm. Words cannot express how beautiful it is! The food and drinks are excellent and there is so much for the kids to do, from the trampoline to playing with the bunnies and kittens.
A hop on hop off bus tour if you’re short on time. Make time to visit the fortress!
