Mistura Contorno has a great view, beautiful people, and typical local dishes with a very sophisticated twist: my recommendation: casquinha de siri (stuffed crab shells) for an appetizer, and the Moqueca (fish stew) as a main course. A close second was Soho for a Brazilian twist on Japanese food. Bonus: sit outside for an amazing idyllic view.
A visit to Pelourinho is not to be missed! Santo Antonio, which is right next to Pelourinho has a lot of fun bars and restaurants which the locals love, as well as beautiful colors and architecture. Stop by the Farol da Barra also for gorgeous views while you enjoy the local coconut water!
