Eggsburgh The location inside a historic hotel was beautiful and the food was phenomenal. Loved the huge menu and the vibe of the place.
We attended a concert at the Delta Center downtown and could easily walk from our hotel across the street to the venue and nearby restaurants.
Booking a hotel with an outdoor pool in the heat of the summer was amazing. My kids loved cooling off in it.

I really enjoyed La Barba breakfast tacos. The staff was incredibly polite and the time I went I tried their jasmine latte which was delightful. Rich’s Burgers and Grub was also a good time-lots of different burgers available with a unique twist.
The Red Butte Garden is fantastic. Lots to explore and shady places to rest if it’s warm. The State Capitol Building and public library were two of my favorites along with a bookstore called LoveBound. The UMFA also has a nice collection to see. Outside the city, I recommend Park City. Cute little ski resort town that you can enjoy any time of year.
The city has public transit called Trax that goes to several tourist stops and most of the city is walkable, so you get to see a lot on the way to your destination. The cafes and coffee shops are also great places to grab something tasty and refreshing.

Spitz Mediterranean restaurant. It's fast casual and delicious!
Check out the Bonneville Salt Flats. It's worth the drive!

I know it's cliche because it's on so many "Top 10 Places to Eat in SLC" lists, but the Red Iguana is a must hit if you love Mexican food.
Definitely the hiking. Nothing beats the gorgeous mountain views.
Stop and take in the beauty of the valley and the mountains.
