Parlament restaurant was easily our favorite. The atmosphere was refined but accessible to anyone. The food was delicious Czech favorites with options for food we had never heard of. Get all the dumplings!

We enjoyed the view from the top floor of the museum of science. MUST SEE! We also enjoyed seeing Prague castle and walking through old town. You can’t go wrong here!

Leave early in the morning to get the best views and beat the crowds. We were up and out the door by 0630-0700 everyday and it was worth it to have so many places essentially to ourselves.

What are the best places to eat and drink in Prague?

Lokal is the BEST bar and restaurant. So casual, and fun, delicious food and drinks!

What are the best things to do in Prague?

We love doing castle tours, boat rides, visiting Charles Bridge (morning is less crowded!), Lego Museum, and Praha Zoo is amazing!! We also love finding fun statues around the city. There's so much architecture and history to explore, there's always something to find and do.

What is the best tip for travelling with kids to Prague?

Plan extra time between tours/schedules. Definitely visit Charles Bridge and Old Town in the morning or less busy hours. My kids loved the Lego Museum, kids museum at the Narodni Museum, eating chimney cake ice cream cones, and riding the public transportation. There's plenty of familiar food flavors like schnitzel (chicken nuggets) and fried cheese (mozzarella sticks).

What are the best places to eat and drink in Prague?

We loved our dinner at Kampa Park restaurant. It was very romantic to be by the Charles bridge all illuminated at night and watch the passing boats. The food matched the views and was superb!

A private tour of the 17th Strahov library with books dating from the 1200s was unbeatable- best to email them months before especially during peak season as slots are limited.

What are the best places to eat and drink in Prague?

More than anything I really enjoyed the little cafés where I just got coffee and dessert. There were a few fabulous little places and I even found 2 places that had multiple cats roaming freely throughout the restaurants!

Honestly, everywhere you go it's absolutely gorgeous. My favorite part was walking around the streets, without an agenda, just taking it all in. It was fun finding all of the Cerny statues too! I also did a private walking tour with a local who showed me some of her favorite local spots. There was also a cool installation at the library.

What is the best tip for solo travel in Prague?

Prague is a fantastic place for solo travel! I always felt completely safe. The photo shoot with Eliška was definitely a highlight as was the private walking tour that I booked with a local. It was great to have the local perspective and to be able to enjoy coffee and dessert with such interesting people!

Get breakfast at burgring1. Order a quiche and their hot chocolate or a coffee drink. Checkout Prague castle and walk the long path starting at the bottom of Petrin Lookout tower. Also drink the beer wherever you go and checkout the Hemingway bar late at night!

Get up early to beat the crowds to Old Town Square & Charles Bridge. Any place that has a tower to climb, get up there! The views are just incredible throughout the city. I liked the astronomical clock tower view the best.
