We stayed near Tolovana Beach and would like to recommend Sea Level Bakery & Cafe for their coffee and baked goods. GO EARLY.
Be prepared to pull over because the coastline is absolutely beautiful. Viewpoints are EVERYWHERE.
If visiting in the summer, keep towels/picnic blankets with you for spontaneous beach hangs.

Casa Zoraya - Stunning ambiance and the food was spectacular. Gado Gado - Great food!!! Stumptown Coffee - The rose gold latte was a favorite. I went back for seconds.
We loved the Cape Lookout hike - stunning views and the drive there was beautiful! The Japanese Garden and the rose garden as Peninsula Park stole my heart. I'm so happy I got to experience such beauty.
Go with the flow. Lots of little places to eat and slow down. Be with each other and enjoy all the eats. We loved walking through the city and talking about the chapter in our lives. Its a beautiful city to take a step back and savor you love.

Canard is our favorite Portland restaurant. They have this dish called Duck Stack Pancakes (add foie gras) which might be my favorite dish in the country!
Walking through Laurelhurst Park, food truck hunting, sipping European drinking chocolates, heading to Cannon Beach on the weekends, and more.
Yes! Bring your own small chair for restaurants. Not all Portland restaurants and food truck areas have height chairs.

If you're there for the holiday season, the boat parade down the Columbia River is awesome! We had dinner at a restaurant right on the water and could watch all the light up and decorated boats float by. We also never miss an opportunity to ski on Mt Hood if the snow is good.

Outside of Portland in Sandy we visited a great little food truck called Breakfast in the Hood. Food was wonderful and filling. Highly recommend if you like breakfast foods.
