How did you meet?

What is your love story?

Kayla and I had been dating for 5 1/2 years. We matched on tinder 7 years ago when I was 23 and Kayla was 19. We started dating when she got back from studying abroad in 2017. We were long-distance for 4 years since she was in college and then moved back home after. We finally moved in together in march of 2021. Kayla is the most compassionate, generous, and lovely soul I know. She makes me laugh and I feel like the happiest person in the world with her. I've known for a long time that she was the one; I just wanted to wait so the proposal would be perfect

What made you choose this proposal destination?

Kayla went out to California with her friends last year and went to Treasure Island Beach a few times. She would call me from there and tell me how magical this beach was and how beautiful it was!

What is your proposal story?

We were on vacation and I surprised her with a hotel in laguna beach and told her she needed to dress up and be ready by a certain time. From there we went in an uber to treasure island beach where I proposed to her at sunset. I had a photographer and a videographer capture the moment.
