“ It was a pleasure to work with Coo. He was extremely responsive and helpful throughout planning and leading up to the day of the proposal. On the day, we were a bit late getting out the door and a morning aerobics group started doing exercises near the proposal spot. Coo let me know what to expect and when they'd be done, and I was able to pop the question without any interruptions thanks to his proactive communication. He also joined in the aerobics while waiting around and blended in perfectly, my fiance had no idea! The photos he took were incredible as well. “ Stumbled upon Coo and Yurika's portfolio when I was looking for a photographer to help with my wedding proposal shoot in Kyoto. His portfolio was exactly what I was looking for in terms of the mix of Kyoto old street landscape and nature. Coo was very prompt with communication. We talked through the plan e.g. timing to meet, how we could maintain the element of surprise. He was also open to share his portfolio of shots in other areas for consideration. Based on his recommendations, we manage to come up with an itinerary spreading from Gion area to Maruyama Park. We dont really pose shots much so my fiancee and I were pretty lost of what to do. He would patiently direct us on the shots and impressively managed to capture many candid moments too. Manage to also find out that he has a side hustle as a tour guide too. The places he recommended for meals were awesome and avoided the typical tourist traps. Happy to recommend Coo and Yurika for their services and thanks for their warm hospitality! ”

“ We had a great experience shooting with Coo in Kyoto! Coo is a very talented photographer, and has a friendly, calming presence which made us feel so at ease and comfortable during our shoot. This made all the difference when our toddler became upset during the shoot, Coo was so kind and patient, and still managed to capture so many amazing photos! Our shoot was booked for the 3rd week of October. We had originally wanted to shoot at Philosopher’s Path, and hoped to capture the autumn leaves. But due to the time of year the leaves were still green, so Coo made an excellent recommendation to change the shoot location to Maruyama Park based on the vision we had shared. “ Coo is absolutely the most professional, well-prepared, and technically excellent photographer! We are doing a 10-year anniversary shoot in Kyoto when we had limited time. Coo asked us the purpose and desired look of the shoot in advance so he could recommend the exact right places, and let us know in advance that weather for our originally planned shoot date was not ideal, and gave us the option to move it to a better date. The shoot far exceeded our expectations in terms of the number of pictures we got, and the quality of the pictures - most definitely the best professionally done photos we have received, not just on Flytographer! Coo knows THE BEST corners of Kyoto to get those unexpected angles, so if you want those "secret" shots, hire Coo for sure! Cannot recommend Coo more. ”

“ I had the privilege of working with Coo for my surprise proposal in Kyoto, Japan. The overall experience was incredible and efficient from beginning to end as I was coordinating with him from the US! Coo responded within a couple hours of me submitting a request through Flytographer. After the response, we went straight to WhatsApp and began game planning how to execute the surprise proposal. He really made sure he understood what I was looking for, provided several locations where he has done shoots, and suggested ways in which we can do the shoot to make sure we captured the surprise reaction. After we captured the surprise, he took us around Gion and completed a full photoshoot around the neighborhood. Not only that, he used to be a tour guide! So he was able to give us an insightful look at the history of Gion and the locations we took our photos at. I enjoyed working with him thoroughly. He's very conversational, speaks English fluently, and has a great eye for photography. I definitely recommend working with Coo! ”

“ A visitor from Australia in Japan. Loved every moment whilst visiting, to top it off i wanted to propose to my partner and make this a memorable trip and Coo made this so seamless. I was unsure of where to propose in Kyoto as it wasnt the season i had seen pictures of. Coo helped with showing me the current pictures of each place, he also gave me a weather forecast and also was flexible and assisted with changing the day of the shoot to a sunny day.
