Waterfront wines was amazing if you're looking for a nice place to eat out. Great cocktail spot and delicious food. We went to Central Kitchen + Bar twice for a more casual setting. It was good food and a fun atmosphere. My favourite spot to eat was Quails Gate Winery. Their food and wine was unreal!
Renting a pontoon was one of the best decisions we made. We booked on a smaller lake called Wood lake which I highly suggest as it is less busy and windy as Okanagan. Also, booking a wine tour is a must!
Summers in Kelowna are hot and busy. Be sure to book things like restaurant reservations and activities well in advance!
We spent a wonderful afternoon with family at Strathcona beach which was quiet but the waterfront in Kelowna is just spectacular. Leave lots of time to visit wineries and be sure to plan to sample the different wineries cuisine.
If kids are part of your travel crew, plan to visit Kangaroo Creek Farm. Watching my daughter interact with animals she’d never before seen up close was a fun way to spend an afternoon.
