Kenrokuen Garden

From cherry blossoms in spring to autumn colours and a winter wonderland, Kenrokuen is magical in every season. Exploring it is a feast for the eyes, complete with stunning bridges, teahouses, and scenic ponds. Head to the northern bank of Kasumiga-ike Pond to see the beautiful Kotoji Toro, a stone lantern built on the water. Then check out Hisago-ike Pond with its lovely waterfall. You'll understand why this is considered one of Japan's three most beautiful gardens. Note: There's an admission fee to enter the garden. To find the place at its most peaceful, an early morning shoot is ideal.
