As the highest viewpoint in Joshua Tree National Park, this spot has breathtaking vistas as far as the eye can see, including the Coachella Valley, Mount San Gorgonio, San Andreas Fault, and the Salton Sea. On very clear days, besides goosebump-gorgeous views from the California Desert in all its magnitude, you can even spot Signal Mountain across the border in Mexico. We highly recommend you visit during the golden hours: sunrise or sunset will give your photo shoot that wow factor. Note: The viewpoint is easily accessible by car, followed by a short walk; there's a parking area right below it.
