Well our tip is to try new kinds of food! Our favorite was the Khao Soi that is a kind of noodle soup that is savory, spicy and sweet from coconut milk. We tried it in the basement at Warorot Market. The sticky rice and mango at an open air place in front of the @Chiang Mai Hotel is amazing! You also should do the Chat with a Monk program at Wat Chedi Luang. You can sit with them and ask questions.

Stay at the Dhara Dhevi hotel! It was such a fabulous experience getting to bicycle around the resort and relax in our own private treehouse villa
Go to an elephant camp! We went to the Elephant Jungle Sanctuary, sanctuary for former working elephants that does not allow riding. It was such a a wonderful experience to feed, care for, and get up close and personal with such amazing animals! We also had a wonderful Valentine's dinner at Rooftop 69 and loved exploring the Chiang Mai Night Bazaar.
