With the world-famous fairy chimneys emerging amidst vineyards and fruit trees and dominating the horizon, the valley vistas are striking and whimsical, and the contrast between the beige and pink rocks against the lush green vegetation will make you feel like you're on another planet. Sunsets bring an extra layer of magic, colouring the valley with warm hues; during sunrise, you get to see brightly coloured hot air balloons enhancing the grandeur of the scenery. Note: To be more comfortable while exploring, it's a good idea to wear non-slip sports shoes.
