Pyramids
Wonder of the World | Cairo, Egypt
As the last remaining wonders of the ancient world, the Pyramids of Giza need no introduction. Their sight is one of the most iconic vistas in the world, and a visit to this landmark is an unparalleled chance to grasp the grandeur of ancient Egypt. The complex is home to nine pyramids in total. The best views? Head to the Panoramic Point, where you can admire six pyramids, including the three most famous. Longer bookings can also visit the almighty Sphinx — another iconic monument that adds an extra touch of mystery to an already awe-inspiring site. Note: it's a bit of a walk from the ticket office to the pyramids, so it's a good idea to check if your hotel provides a driver or guide. To cover the pyramids, we suggest you book at least 60 minutes. If you also want to cover the Sphinx, a minimum of 90 minutes is advisable. *Thing to keep in mind for this route: - Dress code at the pyramids is strictly casual and modest. - Pyramids are open between 8 am and 4 pm. You can only access the area during that time. - Maximum number of people permitted for a photoshoot at the pyramids is 6 participants (this does not include your photographer). - You must have a driver with you (Uber is not recommended as they will only drop you off at the ticket office and not inside at the shooting location). - If you are interested in taking photos with camels please bring cash. A fee will be requested. Camels and horse carriages will be at the shooting location so it's recommended you don't hire them at the gate.
