Things to note: if walking around Snowmass Village, this route is very easy, although stairs and some hilly walking will be necessary to get to the village. If skiing, a lift pass is required, but Snowmass offers a wide variety of terrain for all levels of skiers and lift access to amazing views. If hiking, the Government Trail can be a bit steep and is best for travelers with a moderate level of fitness.
