Nestled in between the iconic Maroon Bells, experience the breathtaking beauty of Maroon Lake in Aspen, Colorado. Keep your eyes peeled for wildlife as you stroll along the walking paths. Accessibility is easy with pathways leading down to the lake, and continuing around it. For the adventurous, embark on a hike through various trails to another alpine lake for more photo opportunities amidst the wilderness. *Please note that Maroon Lake requires parking permits, which usually sell out, but a few more are released to book a few days in advance of a visit. there is also a shuttle bus that requires reservations — if purchased in advance, the price is $16 Adults, $10 Seniors over 65, and $10 Children under 12. The road to the lake is closed in winter.
