Definitely plan to stay for at least 4 days, especially if you’re traveling with little ones. There’s a ton to do and see so give yourself enough time.

The Grand Bohemian had the best service, best cocktails, and atmosphere. Would definitely recommend!
Brewery hopping. You can’t go wrong! The Funkatorium was our favorite.
Bring your child carrier vs stroller if you can.

Old Europe is the place to go! They have the best desserts, and plenty of gluten-free options. We eat there for dessert in the evenings and get extra for breakfast (my son loves their key lime pie for breakfast!). If you see a line, don't worry...it goes fast and is totally worth it!
The Biltmore is such a beautiful place to explore and there is so much for to it than the house (although, that is amazing!). The gardens, the food in Stable Cafe, bass pond and the waterfall on the other side of it, trails, Antler Hill Village...it is all wonderful and deserves to be a part of the Biltmore experience.
Downtown is amazing, so if you can swing it, stay there. You'll love the vibrant scene, all the dogs, and the general eclecticism of the town. Plus, that is where Old Europe is, so you can easily grab their goodies anytime of day!
Highland brewing company was such a great bar and good vibe.
The Biltmore was amazing! Definitely recommend that.
Explore little towns outside of Asheville. It is amazing there but we went to Cashier's too and it was so cute! If you have time there are so many outside places to explore.

We enjoyed Strada Italiano downtown. The food was amazing and the staff was exceptional! Red Stag Grill in our hotel (Grand Bohemian) was wonderful as well!
The Biltmore Estate was simply beautiful! Poseidon Spa was a beautiful experience as well!
We had an itinerary put together, but we just did things as they came to us. No schedules…just enjoyed the beautiful scenery and people!

Spend some time wandering around the grounds of the Biltmore Estate - take in the beautiful sites of the conservatory, the gardens, and the private hiking trails around the bass pond and waterfall. Then, head over to the stables to grab an ice cream float or "freeze" - sherbet and Sprite! Spend at least an hour touring the Biltmore House - the largest privately owned home in the United States!
