We loved our experience at Hearthstone Lounge. The food was phenomenal (the best prime rib we have ever had) & the service was top notch. The atmosphere was relaxed & classy.

World of Color at California Adventure was so special! We got front row of the Yellow section (through Virtual queue) and it was amazing.

What is the best tip for celebrating your anniversary in Anaheim?

Disneyland hotel was a great place to stay. We loved the Adventure Tower because it was peaceful yet still close to the security check for Downtown Disney.

We loved eating at Black Tap and Naples Pizzeria in Downtown Disney because it was close to a lot of activities for my toddler and was a quick, counter service restaurant.

We love the Jazz Kitchen at Downtown Disney and visit every time we come! We love splitting the blackened mac and cheese because it’s huge and super tasty and filling!

What are the best places to eat and drink in Anaheim?

I have several food allergies and also kids that don't want more than an allergy friendly menu. We were pleasantly surprised at how many options the Anaheim Packing District had. My toddler could get French Fries (Georgia's Kitchen) , my preschooler loved a specialty popsicle (Popbar). my husband loved his fish and chips (The Chippy Fish & Grill) and I found several allergy friendly options at Healthy Junk at the House. For a family with different preferences, this worked really well for us.

What are the best things to do in Anaheim?

We traveled mostly for Disneyland, but also went tot the Anaheim Packing District. We loved our dining experience and all the offerings at the Anaheim Packing District. Disneyland was a hit for our family. Our preschooler had been counting down the days until our visit for months. We all were able to do so much. Even at 8 months pregnant I could safely ride several rides as could my two year old.

What is the best tip for travelling with kids to Anaheim?

If you're going for a Disney trip, expect to do less than you expect. Our preschooler and toddler spent time dancing and popping bubbles. We didn't rush these moments. We knew we had so much to fit in, but moments where they could just be happy dancing weren't worth rushing. We also suggest going early. Do as much as you can before the park gets busy. We did 90 percent of the rides by 2pm just by using Genie Plus and going in with a touring strategy for what we knew our kids would enjoy most. We were then able to go back to the resort for naps and pool time.

We are huge Disney fans and a true Disney family at heart! So our recommendation is check out all the fun food festivals that go on during select parts of the year at Disneyland.

The Disneyland Resort is a top attraction in Anaheim, but there it is exhausting. We followed 3 days at Disneyland with 3 days on the beach and it was the perfect combination of activity and relaxation.

We have too many but a tip from our photographer, Alvin, that we're now passing on to everyone else: eat at Mama D's in Newport Beach (and get the famous homemade ravioli with pink sauce). Authentic Italian comfort food that tastes like it's straight from nonna's kitchen with the friendliest service around.

Carthay Circle in Disney California Adventure is completely worth the money! It was by the far one of the best meals we have ever had. For a cheaper eat in the park, I recommend Jolly Holiday Bakery's tomato soup and grilled cheese combo. Also, always get to the park early and use the fastpasses to your advantage!
