“I hired Flytographer to capture my little guy and me on our annual Mother’s Day/birthday vacation. The inspiration for our annual vacation is connection. I am a single mother by choice to a wonderful 8-year-old boy. In the hectic day-to-day shuffle of life, carving out time with my son when I’m not also multi-tasking on the laundry, cooking, cleaning, etc. is a challenge. Our annual Mother’s Day/son’s birthday vacation is a time for us to get away and have fun!
“My favourite memory from our vacation was seeing my son’s face when we arrived at the USS Midway Museum in San Diego! He was so excited to be on an aircraft carrier! And the funniest memory from our vacation has to be the Jurassic Park ride at Universal Studios in Hollywood. My son begged me to get on the ride. I was hesitant because I did not want to get my hair wet! After watching the ride for a bit, I figured I might get away with a minor splash of water. Boy, was I wrong! As the car descended into the water, a huge spray SOAKED my hair. I laughed it off and we took pictures to send everyone of my ‘new’ hairdo!
