When they planned a birthday getaway to Cannon Beach together, Kane knew it was the perfect opportunity to propose to his partner Neil. Read on for the story behind their proposal and why they’re so thankful they had vacation photographer Whitney capture their big moment.
“We’ve both been to Cannon Beach separately years ago and spoke about a getaway there as we both love it — miles of sand, forever ocean views, and the magical Haystack Rock and Needles were the perfect backdrop.
“Whitney, our superhero photographer, was in position, as discussed earlier in the week, pretending to be a tourist snapping photos. Neil and I walked along the beach after dinner and I gave Whitney the signal that I was ready. Nervous or not, it was time…and Whitney was ready. She caught our proposal moment better than anyone could have imagined. It was real time, not posed or staged. I am forever grateful I chose Flytographer and Whitney was paired with us.
