  2. Dalt Vila: Step into history as you walk through the dramatic gateway entrance, the stone drawbridge, the vast terraces, and the high ramparts on every level.

1. Es Cavallet

Stunning blue waters, crashing waves, and white sand make Es Cavallet one of the best places to take photos in Ibiza. But watch your background! While its natural, rolling sand dunes and bordering green belt of shade and hills make the beach feel private, it’s also an official nudist beach. The main nudist area is in the middle section, so if you wander that way, be prepared to see some skin! 🫣

In the summer months, count on relaxed party vibes, club music and cocktails. Its broad, open‌ beach is perfect for sunset strolls, and on a clear day, you can see both ‌Ibiza Old Town and Formentera. The north end of the beach is popular with celebrities, and at the south end, you’ll find an active gay scene and the Chiringay Beach Bar and Restaurant, which is the most popular daytime meeting point for the LGBTQ scene on the island. 🏳️‍🌈

2. Dalt Vila

Once one of the most vital coastal cities in the Mediterranean and situated on a small mountain that overlooks Ibiza town and the sea, the fortified old town of Dalt Vila is one of the most Instagrammable places to take photos in Ibiza. 📸🤳🏽

There are literally Instagram spots everywhere you look, whether it’s the dramatic gateway entrance, the stone drawbridge, the vast terraces, the high ramparts on every level, or the awe-inspiring viewpoints at the summit.

In the main square, you’ll find plenty of art galleries, shops with hand-crafted goods, and loads of delectable restaurants. If a candlelit dinner in a medieval castle under the stars doesn’t sound romantic, what does? 🕯️🌌 Save plenty of time to explore Dalt Vila’s winding, narrow streets, where you’ll also find the Cathedral of Nuestra Señora de las Nieves and the world-renowned Contemporary Art Museum. There’s something around every corner!

3. Sa Caleta

Certainly, one of the ‌best beaches and most beautiful places to take photos in Ibiza is Sa Caleta, a horseshoe-shaped beach almost totally bordered by sheer red cliffs. The cove is full of shallow, crystal-clear water that’s warm, thanks to the fact the beach is so sheltered. If you’re interested in snorkelling, its rocky promontories are full of exotic fish. 🐠

The top of the cliffs provides stunning views, which makes it perfect for a photoshoot‌—but be careful not to stroll too close to the edge. The rocks can be unstable. 🪨🪨

If you feel like exploring (and you will when you set foot on this gorgeous beach), Sa Caleta holds the ruins of the first Phoenician settlement on Ibiza, dating back to 654 BCE. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 1999, the settlement is free to explore and full of historical information. You’ll also pass by some bunkers from the Spanish Civil War on the way!

4. Cap des Falco

Nestled between the beaches of Es Codolar and Ses Salines is a large, majestic mountain, the top of which is called Cap des Falco (Cape of Falcons). Located on the southernmost part of the island of Ibiza, the mountain provides phenomenal views of small islets and turquoise waters‌ on one side and salt ponds on the other. While you’re up there, keep your camera ready, as you’ll likely encounter the many birds that nest there, such as the peregrine falcon!

But be warned, the climb is not for the faint of heart! While you’ll be rewarded with stunning views of the towering, legendary rock of Es Vedra, Cala Llentrisca, Codolar Beach, and gorgeous rocky landscapes, the climb is steep. Bring water and snacks! 🥵

On your way down, keep an eye out for the lighthouse located on the Islet de Penjats (the hanged island), which earned its name because so many pirates were hanged there in the swashbuckling days of old! 🏴‍☠️

5. Port of Portinatx

This beautiful beach located in the north of Ibiza is snuggled between two rocky promontories that provide shelter from the wind, so you can swim in its crystal-clear waters, soak in the sun on its golden sand, and take in the nearby islands in pure comfort. The surrounding area is less developed than the south of the island, so you can bask in its natural, pristine geography as you take all the beach selfies you want!

The beach is also protected from strong currents, making it ideal for any young swimmers in your party and anyone who wants to kayak or jet ski. You can find plenty of comfortable chairs and sun loungers on the beach when it’s time to relax, as well as several nearby restaurants serving delightful, local cuisine.

With its breathtaking scenery and chill vibes, this is one of the most relaxed and beautiful places‌ to take photos in Ibiza! 😎
