Meet Kortney in Charleston

I am an adventurous and energetic mom of two who is also a 5th grade teacher. My students and husband would say I'm a bit silly at times, but what is life without a good laugh?! I describe my style as Natural and Vibrant which captures the essence of life's spirited moments, unposed and bursting with genuine emotion. It's like stepping into a warm hug, a visual celebration of life's unscripted moments.

    Favourite Place to Shoot: Washington Square, because it has so many Charleston favorites including: cobblestone walkways, iron fences, colorful buildings and doorways, and cool artifacts from history.

Three Things

  1. I am a 5th grade teacher by day and photographer by night! My love for children bleeds into my photography as I have a knack for helping them feel comfortable, safe, and most importantly, silly.
  2. One thing I can't live without is guacamole and chips. Or queso and chips. Or really any dip with chips.
  3. My friends tell me I am more fun than bubble wrap! Another fun fact is I can hold a handstand for a very long time - and I'm always willing to show it off 🤸‍♂️
